Snowball

Snowball is a Canadian Venture Capitalist firm founded in the deep north of Edmonton, Alberta. Snowball is a metaphor for accumulating wealth with funds and investments. So to visualise this concept, we designed through a short design sprint, working their ideas into reality.
Keen from the offset to visually integrate ideas of growth, accumulation, movement and the Snowball itself, the result is a dynamic snowflake mark created from arrows formed to look like a rolling movement. Pairing this with a stripped-down colour palette to fit the corporate roots and a wordmark that emulated the tech companies the VC wanted to partner with. The new brand was created over 2 weeks accompanied by annotated brand guidelines for the Snowball team to work with.
